Onyx

Onyx was inspired by the African American musicians who helped shaped rock and roll: Tina Turner, Betty Davis, James Brown etc. The inspiration behind the color pallet comes from the name of the piece; black with stage worthy silvers and color blocking, the mix of the fabrics reflect the time periods of the music. The hair and makeup take inspiration from the stage versions and play with Itoghan Edoloyi’s lighting.
